Hakkasin taas pihta / Resuming Activity

Enamasti. Hea, kui natukenegi päikest näeb.

ENG: I had a bit of a pause from recording. There was solar energy, but it was damn cold and I used up a bit more firewood than expected. Also, I struggled with the writer's block, felt too stuck in terms of my ability to come up with new lyrics. While this deserves a post on its own, I'd just mention that last weekend I did manage to produce a couple of texts in my native language, so I'm finally able to move on.

Now the weather is overcast and rainy. The forecasts however say nothing about whether I can expect any sun within the 24 hours, so I have to hope for the best. Thus, as soon as I saw the sun peaking out around noontime today, I quickly set up my Danelectro and commenced laying down a couple of rhythm guitar parts that I needed to do.

From now on, as soon as possible, I hope to do the drums next. Might have to start setting up the drum mikes already. And then commit myself to do the vocals, as soon as it gets sunny again on a more consistent and reliable basis. For now, it's good to see sun whenever it appears.
